CONSERVATION & RESTORATION

St Andrew’s Church Wall Restoration, Oddington

Conservation and rebuilding work to the historic boundary wall at St Andrew’s Church, Oddington, carried out using traditional dry stone walling methods and locally appropriate materials.

Before

Sections of the original wall had significantly deteriorated over time.

After

Carefully rebuilt using traditional dry stone walling methods and locally appropriate materials.

The restoration work focused on preserving the character and appearance of the original boundary wall while restoring long-term structural integrity using traditional methods and sympathetic materials.

Particular care was taken to retain the visual relationship between the churchyard wall and the surrounding historic landscape.

CONTEMPORARY WALL CONSTRUCTION

Private Estate Retaining Wall Construction

Construction of bespoke retaining walling for a private cotswold property using traditional dry stone walling methods and carefully selected natural stone.

The walling was designed to integrate naturally into the wider landscape and architectural setting while providing long-term structural performance.

Traditional dry stone walling techniques were used throughout the project to create retaining structures that complemented both the surrounding landscape and the wider architectural setting of the property.

Particular attention was given to proportion, stone selection, and the relationship between the walling, planting, and hard landscaping elements.

The completed walling was designed to integrate naturally into the surrounding estate landscape while providing long-term structural performance and visual permanence.
